The only accessory you need is a 2000lb – 3500lb front mounted winch and front suspension pucks.
Everything you need for mounting and operating the Ground Force System is the winch plate which is included with the lift frame and your specific front plow mount to fit your machine.
There are many ATV/UTV attachments that are lifted with a single winch. What differentiates the
Ground Force System is a patented design that utilizes a secondary winch to actuate the bucket, fork,
plow, or other attachment. The primary winch raises and lowers the GFS frame as it pivots on the ATV
or UTV mount. The secondary winch actuates the bucket, fork, etc. up or down at the end of the GFS
frame. This provides two degrees of motion that are unique only with the GFS.
The advantage of being able to separately control two pivot points is it performs like a hydraulic system
without the added expense or complexity. Scooping, lifting, hauling, or pushing is easier and more
effective if you can control the position of the bucket, fork, etc. separate from the position of the lift
frame.
Front suspension pucks are required for most vehicles since the stock front shocks aren’t designed for the load that is added with the Ground Force System and whatever material is being hauled. Our suspension pucks work with those shocks that have the ½” center shaft exposed underneath the coil spring. The pucks are inserted between coil windings and slip over the shaft. The number of pucks required is determined by the overall shock travel divided by the ¾” puck height. For example, a shock with a 5” travel would require 6 pucks: 5 ÷ 0.75 = 6.66.
On the products page there’s a drop down menu that determines if there is an ATV or UTV mount for your vehicle.
If there is not one listed at this time, please contact us at 715-690-2178 and we will assist you in finding a mount.
However, if you have an existing front mount, please contact us. There are some brands and configurations that are compatible with the Ground Force frame.
At this time, only through the website. Distributors are coming soon.
Due to weight load and safety considerations, we recommend using the Ground Force System with a
400cc or larger vehicle.
